Customer Support Executive
We are seeking part-time Customer Support Executives to fulfil a brand new function in our business to help guide and support the customer in their buying cycle process, providing timely information and follow up, in accordance with the company’s defined customer journey.
Reporting into the Customer Enquiry Manager, this team takes responsibility for nurturing fresh inbound enquiries for our products and services, as well as for the core outbound prospecting function for repeat business with our existing customer base. The primary objectives centre around providing tailored, intelligent responses to customer enquiries, and managing the customer journey in its entirety, up to the point of introduction to our showroom based sales team, who will present and demonstrate the product and negotiate the sales. The workflow will be managed through our bespoke CRM platform, and will consist of multi-channel communications with customers, providing this service on a 7 day week basis.
Successful applicants are likely to have some experience in a modern, customer-centric CRM operation, or have 2+ years’ experience in a sales support or customer service environment. It is not necessary to have direct automotive industry experience, but candidates should ideally have a genuine interest in cars, and be capable of and interested in becoming real experts in the BMW product range. A good general IT knowledge base is essential, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a commercial flair for winning business.
Based at our Bedford Road, Northampton dealership, the role will be to join a team with rota working, including some early evening (up until 6:30pm) and weekend work. This is a hybrid role with approximately 70% of time in the office and 30% from home. All necessary equipment for this will be provided. The role attracts a basic salary of £22,000 per annum with a £4,000 per annum on target bonus package (pro-rated for part-time working hours), payable monthly, based on the achievement of sales and customer service objectives.
