We are looking for an ambitious, conscientious, and professional person who is looking to develop their career in the Motorcycle retail sector, working with the world’s leading premium motorcycle brand.
Based at our Bedford Road, Northampton showroom and reporting to the Aftersales Manager, this person will be working as part of a 15 strong team, responsible for providing the Maintenance, Repair plus Parts and Accessory support of a busy Aftersales operation which looks after 20+ retail customers per day. The work will involve supporting customers visiting the showroom, enquiring by telephone & online, and require a keen interest in building knowledge of the BMW Motorcycle range of bikes, accessories, and service arrangements.
The successful applicant does not need prior direct experience in a motorcycle or car retail environment, but will need to be confident in speaking with customers, have a good eye for detail, a keenness to learn, and have a willing and helpful attitude. Training in the products and systems will be provided both in house, and at the industry-leading BMW training academy, with plenty of career progression potential in both the Aftersales and Sales operations of our growing Motorcycle and Car retail operations. A motorcycle licence is not an initial requirement but would be a definite advantage, with the expectation of being able to ride and move the product safely within 12 months.
The on-target earnings potential of up to £24,000 per year will be based around the experience and potential of the successful candidate.
